DONATIONS
When one thinks of a music festival, the first thought is usually the awards. Currently these total almost $20,000. However, the operating costs are now in the range of $40,000.
Your support is critical to the continued success of this most worthwhile event in the life of our community.
Tax receipts will be issued. Recognition will be given in the 2009 program for all donations received by March 1st.
There are 3 ways in which to direct your donations:
OPERATIONS
- adjudicator fees, staffing, printing, advertising, hall rentals and piano tuning
ONE-TIME or YEARLY AWARDS
- total donation is awarded in the year given
- amounts may be split to create more than one award
- the intent of the donation may be designated - piano, vocal, instrumental, etc.
- donations may be given as Memorials or Recognition
THE INVESTMENT POOL
- money is invested through the Community Foundation
- only the income is used
- awards are named in perpetuity for donations of $5,000 or more
